About
My research focuses mainly on the social, legal and cultural history of the archaic and classical Greek world, as well as on cultural anthropology.
Currently, I am involved in the investigation of the social position of orphans in the classical Greek world, and most importantly, of the topic of patterns of behaviour and activities of Athenian citizens in the public space of the polis.
Research interests:
Greek social and cultural history; historical anthropology, Greek law and religion; Athenian democracy and political culture; Greek vase-painting iconography, material culture and epigraphy.
